SUNKEN PROMICISES
The work “Sunken promicises” was made from a statue of Jesus. Gradually covered materials evoking the underwater world, the statue is losing its representation to become a fetish
informs and organic, kind of remnants of ancient beliefs rooted out of the waves. Promicises sunken, or promises swallowed, maintains the attitude of the statue at visitor’s eye, her arms still seem indeed mean “Welcome”.
