Karmil Cardone

Born in 1985, in Potenza, Italy, where he lives and works.

A metaphysical perspective is recalled and it moves along the lines of Kantian introspection. The work of German painter Caspar David Friedrich lies between the conscience and knowledge of the Self which is especially evident in his work entitled Wanderer above the Sea of Fog. In Caspar aims at tidying up certain aspects of this issue such as what separates illusion and truth; imagination and reality; hope and disappointment. The
backlit box expresses the spiritual component while embodying deity. The light and its emotion effect, frees the observer and suggests meditative, surrealistic and fantastic dimensions which are never disentangled from reality.
