Storna is a video installation that plays with our perception of microcosm and macrocosm; the infinitely small and the infinitely large often follow similar rules in nature such as swarms of birds, bacteria or an organism floating through space which all appear to be dominated by the same energy. As if within a turbulent primordial vision, Storna encloses the key to a chaotic display of natural order in its fluid crevasses. The metamorphic quivering mass reflects the never-ending struggle which is deeply embedded in human nature as well as in animal nature; the force that dictates change and rules the steady pulse of inevitability.
