Zoe Giabouldaki

Born in 1982 in Alexandroupuli. Lives and works between Thessaloniki and Berlin.

This “sculptural collage” is applied to a clean, glossy surface (mirror): the
 narratives that arise when things are placed on or near, one another, reflect how the artist makes sense of the world. All life is a 
collection of small precariously placed pieces that rely on each other for
 The work echoes this tension, as it continues to be intrigued by the space that
 exists between the mediums, both in the physical sense and through the
 myriad of possibilities that are inherently distinct to each other.
 There is an interdisciplinary approach to push the boundary,  while highlighting
 desired issues that can only be deciphered by the interaction of mediums and
