This “sculptural collage” is applied to a clean, glossy surface (mirror): the narratives that arise when things are placed on or near, one another, reflect how the artist makes sense of the world. All life is a collection of small precariously placed pieces that rely on each other for strength. The work echoes this tension, as it continues to be intrigued by the space that exists between the mediums, both in the physical sense and through the myriad of possibilities that are inherently distinct to each other. There is an interdisciplinary approach to push the boundary, while highlighting desired issues that can only be deciphered by the interaction of mediums and materials.
